Scholarships

Supporting Post-Secondary Education

South Country Equipment believes in on-going education. We encourage youth to pursue post-secondary education so they can take advantage of the local career opportunities, which in turn continue to support and grow the communities that we all enjoy - right here in Saskatchewan!

There are four scholarship programs available through South Country Equipment:

  1. South Country Agriculture Scholarship

    • Directed to students pursuing accredited post-secondary Agriculture related training or field that would serve our Ag communities. Preference will be given to applicants studying in Saskatchewan, with plan to pursue a career in Saskatchewan. Applicable programs such as: Ag Tech, Agribusiness, Agronomy, Animal Science, etc.
    • $500 per 8 South Country Equipment locations.
    • Applications available through the following school divisions: Holy Family, Holy Trinity, Horizon, Prairie South, Prairie Valley, Regina Roman Catholic, and South East Cornerstone.

  2. South Country JD Tech Scholarship

    • Available to students in Level 1 and Level 3 of the JD Tech Program.
    • $4,200 Scholarship to cover the cost of level 1 and level 3 tuitions.
    • Applications are available through all high schools in the South Country Equipment trade area.

  3. SCE AET Certificate Award

    • Directed to students registered in the certificate program at Sask Poly, and Certificate graduates that go on into the apprenticeship stream for Agricultural Technicians.
    • $2000 scholarship annually.
    • Based on academic prowess within the program.
    • Application information available through Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

  4. South Country 4-H Scholarship

    • Available to students actively participating in a 4-H program within all of Saskatchewan.
    • $2,500 per 8 South Country Equipment locations.
