           The successful candidate will be working in a professional environment, actively supporting company operations.  Committed to continuously improving business processes, the candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic with excellent organizational skills.  They will foster a team environment within the accounting group and across departments, and support operations and senior management with a financial perspective to the decision making process.

This full time position offers excellent compensation structure, including benefits and pension.

Duties include:

·         Being a part of the management team, providing financial counseling, analysis ,and recommendations

·         Overseeing control systems, transaction-processing operations, policies and procedures.

·         Controlling and directing accounts payable, collections, and processing of equipment sales and related activities

·         Completing periodic closing procedures, as well as detailed reconciliation for annual audits, tax returns and special reporting

·         Preparation of all financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Reviewing reports to analyze projections against actual.

We are looking for someone with:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business with a Professional Accounting Designation (CA / CMA / CGA) or equivalent.

·         Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior accounting leadership role.

·         Strong understanding and knowledge of all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management.

·         Experience in a retail dealership environment would be an asset.
